Quitterie du Vigier holds two master’s degrees: one in cultural heritage law from Université Paris-Saclay, the other in art history from Université Paris Nanterre. She is director of research and editorial content for the Marc Chagall Archives and catalogue raisonné. Her responsibilities have included researching the first two volumes of the online catalogue raisonné of Marc Chagall's sculptures and ceramics, writing articles for the marcchagall.com website and carrying out scientific work on Chagall's studio photographs. Her dual expertise in law and art history has led her to examine the legal aspects of the catalogue raisonné. She has taken part in several symposia and conferences on the challenges of digital catalogues raisonnés and the specificities of the Marc Chagall catalogue raisonné. More broadly, her current research focuses on the critical reception of Chagall's works between the wars, which will be the subject of a master’s thesis.
