Mr. Bernheim assures Marc Chagall that he will make the necessary arrangements regarding the planned exhibition of La Fontaine's Fables. Lacking artworks, he nevertheless asks Marc Chagall to seek Vollard's assistance, and expresses the wish to be able to show the artist the set he already has.
