Mr. Morette sends Marc Chagall four copies of the draft contract for the commissioning of a mosaic by the State. He asks Marc Chagall to complete them, together with the tax form, and return them to the Service de la Création Artistique. He agrees to place an order for a photographic enlargement, the invoice for which will be sent to him in triplicate, dated and signed.
