Letter from Gaylord Freeman, Chairman of The First National Bank of Chicago (Chicago)

Mr. Freeman tells Marc Chagall that Mr. and Mrs. Wood-Prince have asked to be sent the announcement of the gift to the city of Chicago. He points out that the document sent is a first draft and urges Marc Chagall to let him know what he thinks, as Mr. Wood-Prince is anxious that it should suit the artist. He adds that the event is causing quite a stir in the city.
