The rector of the Académie de Nice announces to Marc Chagall that the project to decorate the Faculté de Droit in Nice has been accepted by the Commission de la Création Artistique. The mosaic artist, Lino Melano, would be in charge of creating a mosaic panel, under Chagall's direction. A contract will be signed directly with him. The Rector made no secret of his delight at seeing the Faculty of Law and Economics adorned with such a beautiful work of art.
