Lino Melano wrote to Marc Chagall that he had informed Louis Trotabas of their project when he met him in Paris and that work was due to start in January. He wished to reassure him that he was involved in the project and that he was preparing all the necessary material. He added that he had made photographic enlargements of the model, and that the success of the project depended on the equipment.
